Furniture & Home Decor Stores near me in Orange County, FL

Delivery fees usually depend on distance from the store or warehouse, the number and size of pieces, whether in-home setup or assembly is included, stairs, and whether old furniture is hauled away. White-glove service costs more than curbside drop-off. Ask for the delivery fee in writing at the time of purchase.

Custom upholstery and made-to-order pieces often take several weeks to a few months, depending on the manufacturer and fabric availability. In-stock items may be delivered within days. Ask for an estimated delivery window in writing and what happens if the order is delayed.

Look for powder-coated aluminum, high-quality resin wicker, teak, or marine-grade polymer, along with outdoor fabrics designed to resist fading and mildew. Lightweight pieces can blow around in storms, so store or secure them before a hurricane. Cushion covers with quick-dry foam help after frequent rain.

It depends on the store's policy. Florida law requires retailers that don't offer refunds or exchanges to post a clear notice at the point of sale. Custom, special-order and clearance items are often final sale. Read the policy, ask about restocking fees, and keep your receipt.

Keep rooms air-conditioned and avoid placing wood directly near AC vents, exterior doors or sunny windows. Use coasters and furniture polish recommended by the maker. In storage units or garages, high humidity can cause warping and mold, so use climate-controlled storage when possible.
