Uncommon Catering is a boutique caterer run by founders Travis Smith and Tara Vernau-Smith that deliberately limits how many events it books. Every menu is customized, and couples can attend a group bridal tasting that samples dozens of dishes; the team also coordinates decor and works with an in-house florist. Its former lunch eatery has closed, but the catering operation continues from its Curry Ford Road kitchen.
