Vast state wildlife management area along the St. Johns River south of Christmas in east Orange County, crossed by more than 60 miles of trails and dirt roads. Hikers, cyclists and riders come for hammocks, creeks and frequent sightings of wading birds, deer and alligators; check hunt dates before visiting.
